PARENT INFORMATION EXCHANGE  

This group is all about your child. Facilitated by a Special Education Teacher or Social Worker  we discuss issues relating to education and daily living skills and how you as a parent can facilitate you childs growth. This group can assist you in making connections, establishing friendships, and learning from each other.

This group is offered once a month on Friday nights at 7 p.m.

PARENT SUPPORT GROUPS
As the parent of an Autistic child, my world has been consumed with this disability. I think all parents need a place where they can talk about what they're feeling, going through, or just how they feel that day. Parent support groups are an essential part of the NYFAC mission.                THIS GROUP IS ALL ABOUT YOU THE PARENT.                              We do not discuss your child specifically.

MOMS BRUNCH

This group is run by Moms and meets once a month for brunch. Topics are discussed and decided as a group.  Meets on  the third Thursday of the month  at 11:30 a.m. till 1 p.m.

DADS NIGHT OUT

Meet at the NYFAC office and talk for a bit ...Then we decide what to do for the evening... Always alot of fun!
